In less than 24 hrs they answered the call and delivered. Very professional and respectful. From the initial call to the end all involved were empathetic and provided answers to all questions. Kevin showed up after normal working hrs and assessed the situation. Immediately he made a call and connected me with Justin who first thing this am came over and provided an estimate which no one could beat!! Mark, Ryan and Adam all arrived shortly after and installed a new furnace (upgraded of course) with careful consideration of my home. So happy with the service. They were humble and I’m glad they let me take a pic to share the experience!

Summers technicians were great. Our (back water valve) was very unpredictable, which always left us worrying about flooding. They did everything, from explaining what they were going to do step by step, and even a supervisor came midday to inspect their work. We now can rest, knowing that our problem was solved.

I am pleased to recommend Summers They made an emergency visit on a holiday weekend when the ruptured sewere c/o ATT boring flooded our bathroom. They arrived within 90 mins , evaluated the problem, and completed the sewer line excavation and repair by Monday afternoon. Five stars for the guys !!!

IF YOUR A WOMEN DONT HIRE THEM I was working so they were dealing with my pregnant wife. they came over and spent less then 10 minutes replacing a limiter on my furnace, the heat still didn't work. When i got home I double checked there work and my furnace circut breaker box was wide open, my air filter was thrown across the room and not reinstalled. Extremely unprofessional. When I told my dad his wife was saying NEVER HIRE THEM, multiple visits every other week all over $500 she even paid for the maintenance subscription and they would come over and not actually perform maintenance, when she hired another company they checked it and it wasn't cleaned at all. different county same unprofessionalism

Donnell was exceptional during my service call today. He arrived with a calm, patient, and professional demeanor, and his knowledge of the heating system was immediately clear. He explained why my furnace had stopped working and recommended that I begin seasonal maintenance a little earlier to help prevent future issues.

He also took the time to ask whether I had any dust concerns or recent renovations in my home—which I have—and explained how important it is to schedule ductwork cleaning and services in situations like mine. I truly appreciated that level of thoroughness and will definitely be moving forward with those services in the future.

On top of that, he helped me change the batteries in my thermostat, something no technician has ever mentioned or offered to help with before, and explained how often I should be replacing my filter. Those small but meaningful steps showed how much he genuinely cares about his customers.

I was so impressed with his patience, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile that I requested he be assigned to my future service calls. Donnell is truly an asset to the company.

Summer’s Heating & Cooling has earned my full recommendation. Their fast response ensured that me and my three babies are back in a warm, safe, and comfortable home. I am sincerely grateful for the care and support they provided today.

Vitamin C

So I had called Summers over because my furnace wouldn’t start, the guy told me I needed about $3500 to fix, said I needed a new heat exchanger and a new igniter/tried to sell me a new furnace. Had a second opinion, turns out I only needed a new igniter. I ended up paying $300 bucks and now I got heat. Never again with Summers!

We just had a tech come out from Summer Plumbing Heating and Cooling his name was Brady he was from the Crown Point office he did a wonderful wonderful job his mannerism was exceptional his customer service was one of a kind we would like to put the word out there to anybody who sees this review a wonderful of a place that is he came he fixed our problem within 10 minutes so please if you see any problem with your heating or air conditioner please get ahold of Summers Plumbing Heating and Cooling this was one of the best reviews I was ever able to give anybody thank you once again Brady for your wonderful service and people skills

Mike Davis

Do not use this company. Terrible service from customer service to HVAC installation to repairs. It started by having a new HVAC system installed. My new furnace would not run after being installed. The exhaust was improperly installed. Next, our house would not heat properly. A technician came out and found that the furnace was not attached properly to the vent. The technician found rags that were used to close the gaps. The technician took the rags out and used tape to try and seal the gaps. He ran out of tape and advised me to buy more tape to finish the job. The next issue came when the pilot would not stay lit causing the furnace not to run. A technician was called out on a Sunday for repairs. The technician cleaned a sensor which corrected the issue. The charge was $396 for a 10 minute job. He talked me into buying a yearly service plan that he said would cover the repair and also include tuning up the air and heating for a year. I had an appointment for a tune up for the air in early summer. Summers canceled the appointment saying that other jobs came up. They wanted to reschedule 2 weeks out. I canceled because of a vacation. Summers canceled my service plan. They also refused to reimburse my money for the yearly service plan. This is not a good company. The company is run by incompetent people.
